Voting Rights: A Short History

Remember today is Election Day so get out and VOTE! Please do not sit this one out and if you already voted, thank you!

The Carnegie Corporation of New York has funded an interesting and informative web site entitled, “Voting Rights: A Short History”. They start the story about U.S. Voting Rights in the 1700s and go through to the present. This Corporation is a grantmaking foundation created by Andrew Carnegie in 1911. Their goal is to promote the advancement and diffusion of knowledge and understanding. We hope you enjoy it and learn something at the same time.
