Department of Homeland Security (DHS) published a notice that it planned on buying $10 million to $20 million worth of electric shock gloves, known as the G.L.O.V.E., which stands for Generated Low Output Voltage Emitter! These gloves which would be given to their U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers and agents, can deliver enough of a shock to “distract and de-escalate”!
