On Thursday, August 20th a plane flew from the United States to Monrovia, the capital of Liberia, on the west coast of Africa to deport 20 migrants! There was a problem, 5 of the passengers decided they did not want to go to Liberia, so the U.S. government flew them next to Equatorial Guinea! This is part of the Trump Administration’s policy to deport to a third country, not their own country of origin. Since early last year, the Trump Administration has deported more the 23,000 people to 26 third countries.
