Kellie earned her law degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law, graduating in 2009. She began her tenure in the legal field in 2005 as a receptionist in the firm that she presently owns. Kellie is a past Chair of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Immigration Law Section and remains a member of the Council. She previously served as Chair of the DC Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Mrs. Lego serves as Social Chair of the Howard County Bar Association and is an active member and past President of the Howard County Women’s Bar Association. Mrs. Lego has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in the field of Immigration from 2013 – 2022. Mrs. Lego is a member of the Rotary of Columbia Patuxent and serves on the Board as the New Generations Chair, responsible for mentoring high school students.
