Biden meets with Trudeau as US, Canada announces Immigration Agreement

President Joe Biden made his first official visit to Canada on Friday, March 24th. He meant with the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and they discussed many joint concerns and announced a new migration deal between the two countries! As part of the new agreement, Canada can send migrants who cross into Canada using unofficial ports of entry at America’s northern border back to the United States. The United States will be able to turn back asylum seekers coming across the Canadian border.
